The
Armament Control System (ACS), provides, in conjunction with the avionic system
and other systems of the aircraft, all the necessary means for operation, control,
release, fire and jettison of the various weapons and other stores carried by
the fixed and rotary wing aircraft.
The operational system consists of
two main sub-systems: Armament Interface Unit (AIU) and Weapon Control Panel (WCP).
For training purposes, a third unit is available: Aft. Weapon Display Panel
(AWDP). |
