The Advanced Counter-measures Dispensing System (ACDS) is a computer
controlled State-of-the-Art airborne self-defense system with enhanced capabilities
for Chaff, Flare and advanced decoy dispensing. It functions both as
a stand alone system where the crew selects and initiates pre-stored dispense
programs or as an integrated part of an EW Suit, executing the optimum dispensing
program upon receiving of the EW Controller and/or aircraft avionics command via
digital data links. Program execution in the semi-automatic mode requires
operator consent, whereas the selected optimum dispensing program is executed
immediately in the automatic mode. The ACDS family includes a wide range
of Smart Dispensers of different types: internal, dual, and scab-on.
The NVG Compatible Mini-Control and Display Unit (MCDU) provides the visual display
of the threat direction detected by EW sensors and generates Audio Warning. The
system provides interface with EW warning systems, Aircraft Avionics/Controls
and Smart Dispensers of any type. A flexible, simple to use Threat Matrix Generator
(TMG) Software allows the customer to modify Dispensing Programs according to
operational needs. A notebook-based User-Friendly Memory Loader & Verifier (MLV)
allows fast and easy downloading of Threat Matrix to the ACDS during O-Level Maintenance.
The Countermeasures Dispenser Tester
(CDT) – O-Level Ground Test equipment – provides the customer wide range of
testing capabilities, including Stray-voltage Test. The ACDS is a cost
effective, tailored solution | | | Copyright
