Safe
& Fast Pre-flight Tests |
Aircraft
maintenance team and surround facilities must
be protected from spontaneous payloads cartridges
dispensing by employing a Smart Breech-Plate
Adapter / Tester for absence of the Stray Voltage
test on dispenser’s firing pins.
The
parentage of a Stray Voltage on dispenser’s
firing pins can be:
- Shortens
between aircraft electrical wires or
-
Voltage induced by electromagnetic field surrounding
the aircraft.
If the technician is loading the Magazine with
payload cartridges installed, a Stray Voltage
on the dispenser’s firing pins can result
the spontaneous firing of the cartridges that
is dangerous for the team and hazardous for
surrounding facilities.

The
Smart Breech-Plate Adapter / Tester - SBPA (V2)
is designed to:
- verify the absence of the Stray Voltage
on the dispenser’s firing pins and
- perform the end-to-end tests of dispensing
system.
The design was based on ROKAR’s experience
in thousands of old SBPAs and CDTs (Countermeasures
Dispenser Tester) use in US AF, US NAVY, US ARMY,
Israeli Air Force and tens of customers worldwide.
|
 |
| These
testers are successfully used for testing of the
AN/ALE-47, AN/ALE-29/37, ADDS-2, ADDS-5, ADDS-7/7E,
TAPAS, M-130V2 Chaff and Flares Dispensing Systems
and Advanced Countermeasures Dispensing Systems
(ACDS) installed in various aircraft. |
The
SBPA(V2) provides:
- Stray Voltage Detection
- Fire Pulse detection & arameters Measurement
- Failed Pin detection
- Up to 32 payload types support
- Mixed Payload types support
- Simultaneous Firing support
- Ground Spring Test
- Auto or Manually Enabled Back-light
- Auto shut-down (time grammable by user)
- Display & Control Module auto back-light
