The SpaceNav
is a state-of-the-art GPS receiver for satellite applications. It is a fully dual redundant, radiation tolerated, 12-channel L1 C/A code receiver. SpaceNav provides precise orbit determination and precise timing for LEO satellites host vehicles. The system includes a special orbital filter algorithm that provides navigation aiding data, and also smoothes the GPS navigation solution to provide the host spacecraft with a more accurate navigation solution. The SpaceNav includes Error Detection and Correction (EDAC) mechanism that enables an automatic detection and correction of SEU events, that allows the SpaceNav to continue functioning in space. | ||||||||||||||||
