Modular ACDS Test Equipment (MATE) is a PC based I-Level test bench. The MATE runs automatic tests to Rokar's Advanced Countermeasures Dispensing System (ACDS) and generates test reports with the test results. The ACDS is a passive countermeasure system for fighters and helicopters. It dispenses Chaff and Flare payload types in response to either a pilot manual dispense command, or in response to threats detected by aircraft's ECM sensors/receivers. The MATE supports various modes of operation. | ![]()
In the ATP mode, either a single LRU or a full system test may be performed. In the Hot Mock-up (HMU) mode, the MATE generates all of the aircraft avionics and other systems signals that interface with the ACDS in the aircraft. It also monitors the signals from the ACDS to the aircraft avionics and analyses the data. This mode, with its impressive debug and process control capabilities, sets the MATE as a Software Development Station (SDS). For easy self-test and maintenance, the MATE runs internal End-to-End tests and monitors the voltage in various junctions within the system. The MATE Man-Machine Interface (MMI) is designed for easy operation. The MATE is composed of state of the art technologies. Due to its modularity it has future growth capabilities for ACDS system extension.
